i picked up a new obsession. wicked. i love the soundtrack, and so far i'm loving the book. when the touring company stops by here in southern california, i'm there! wherever it is. i can't wait!

so my weekend alone didn't turn out the way i wanted it to, with my planned movie marathon. i ended up staying at the wyndham hotel behind the center on friday. why? because there was a scheduled power outage due to maintenance and repairs for greenmoor from 12:01am to 6am. no way am i staying home alone with the whole neighborhood in the dark. so i crashed with a few girls from work. since they had to show up at work at 6:30am, they decided to just get a hotel room nearby. so after work, we had dinner at bj's at tustin marketplace and knocked out when we got back to the hotel.

the 13th was action packed, with the lion king on sale. there were a lot of ppl, but it wasn't as busy as we had expected it to be. it started dying down around 2 pm so for the rest of the day, we were just kinda chillin' and keeping an eye on the temps. came back the next day, even when i didn't need to, to help. i didn't want norm to work and his assistant (me) not helping him out. worked 15 hours of overtime that weekend. fun. got off at 2:30p on that 7th day though, so it wasn't too bad. got my hair done (went darker and got layers) and then headed to catch the last of the leftovers at nikki's bday party.

joes came back from vegas and got sick soon after, which sucks. he's still sick and its been a little over a week. my poor bebers. i'm taking care of him as best i can. i hope i'm doing well.

we baby sat for his nephews and nieces last thursday. such adorable little kiddies. i changed a diaper! its been a while since i've done that, er, or maybe i've never done it. i don't remember. hehe.

the 19th was the scorpio party. not as much ppl as last year, i think. i went over though. i don't even remember how many drinks i had. i just remember trying not to vomit in the car on the way home, and joes helping me get ready for bed. ain't he cute? as a result of drinking too much, i now have lovely red rash all over my body, which happens every time. i guess i'm slightly allergic to alcohol, you think?

saw the incredibles the next day. sooo cuuute. i wanna see it again. maybe after i see bridget jones: edge of reason. when are we going sister?

btw, tin, thanks for the pasalubong from illinois. loving the dunkin' donuts travel cup. and congrats to getting the lead position. cheers to higher pay and a position in power! hehe.

its thanksgiving! although its one of the holidays i haven't really picked up yet since its so very american, i'm liking it this year. we get a 4-day weekend 'coz it ended up on a thursday. so half day tomorrow (wednesday), off the next 2 days and then weekend. yay! we're hosting a thanksgiving dinner at greenmoor tomorrow. should be a blast.

i have so much to be thankful for. everything in my life is as it should be. my family is doing great, everyone's healthy and thriving. my boyfriend is just perfect the way he is and we're happy the way we are. my friends are all leading productive lives. i'm doing good at work, earning enough to get by. i am in good health (albeit a little constipated right now). i feel very blessed and lucky that God continues to look after me and shower me with His love. i'm glad that He gives me what i need, and not what i deserve. i haven't been very catholic in the last 6 years. i hope to remedy that.

despite what i always say, life is good to me.
