Pretty cool if I do say so myself. Ok, so he didn't look that good because the shirt was ill-fitting (he got pretty bad reviews), but still...
Apparently, he was in the Philippines to receive a life time achievement award or something like that, saw the national costume and liked it. I'm actually impressed that he traveled there to receive the award. Other big names would probably just make an acceptance video or something. He admitted that he has been wanting to visit the Philippines in this article.
I saw another article (which I can't find now) that he hit traffic on the way to the awards ceremony and had to take a tricycle (motorbike with a side car) to the Malacanang Palace. Must've been a riot.
