Q: Miss, were you cited in the accident?
A: Yes, sir, I was so ‘cited I peed all over myself.
LOL.
It was really, really busy this past week for me. There was Cat’s bday dinner at Fleming’s, a bbq at our apartment, dinner at BJ’s with April and Norm to relieve pre-wedding jitters, Guitar Hero II/Hookah/pre-party for Belle’s bday, Belle’s actual bday party w/ flag football, welcoming Joes' new nephew into the world, the Alice in Wonderland Wedding (congratulations Norm and April!) and of course, softball.
Some highlights:
- sea bass, chocolate lava cake and crème brule at Fleming’s
- bbq!
- Pizookie and avocado egg rolls at BJ’s
- espasol-type dessert from Japan
- flag football was fun!
- tea party reception
Ok, well, here’s the sports highlights.
Flag football:
- Go Blue Team!
- Jennifer A.’s MVP performance.
- All the Red Team’s girls are scary aggressive, I decided to run after the boys. Hehe.
- Blue Team huddle: Lou, Jon and the rest of the boys spewing highfalutin’ sports terms, girls looking confusedly at each other.
- Sake and beer shots!
- Dora piñata
- video games
- midnight Alberto’s run
- Scoring a run! Yay me! Jon breathing down my neck may have helped with my running.

Good times with good company. What more can one ask for?
