i'm watching hgtv's my first home which is a show about first time homeowners who have one room made over for $3,000. this one couple in texas wanted to incorporate eastern philosophy (i.e. asian/oriental style) into their family room. their interior decorator hired a feng shui expert to help them out.

their expert? a caucasian woman in her 50's. i'm sure she's very knowledgeable, i just thought it was funny that their expert on eastern philosophy was... well, not very asian.
