my sisters and i checked out the fitness center in our apartment complex. i think i'll start using it regularly. its cheaper than signing up for a gym, although i might just do that anyway later on.

the first equipment i tried was the elliptical machine. i wished for my purell bottle when i got off it. hehe. all i could think of was how many strange people have been on it, and lord knows how their hygiene is. i tried all the other machines, and the germ factor left my mind for a moment, while i spent quality time with my sisters and chatted about what's going on with our lives while we listened to the rent movie soundtrack on kristine's cell phone.

then i sat on the weight machine thingy, and my germophobia rose up again with me thinking about sweaty people sitting on the stupid thing. it took all i had to not outright get up and start brushing the back of my sweater to get rid of the invisible germs. i tried to be less obvious so my sisters wouldn't think i'm a freak, which they already know so there really was no point. hehe. (i should bring a can of lysol or something, huh?)

went ice skating at anaheim ice on friday with joes, jay and cicely. it was fun and not as busy as michelle kwan's east west ice palace. there was one girl that was doing fancy figure skating moves, which had me green with envy since i can barely move forward on the ice. i'm considering signing up for classes, but there are no rinks near me. plus, i think i may be too old.

i'm looking to buy my own ice skates anyway. they're not too expensive so it'll be a pretty good investment, since i've been going more lately than usual and plan on going more. plus, using shoes that other people's feet have been in? not too enthusiastic about that. i'm always tempted to double my socks, which i end up not doing because i forget to bring an extra pair. hehe.
