how do i know you're gay? if you're a male ballet dancer who wears an ube purple lycra unitard to rehearsal. much like the one pictured on the right.

kings of the dance was pretty good. it's a ballet, and ballets are not really my thing, but this one is pretty good. the "kings of the dance" are 4 of the biggest male ballet dancers in the world: 2 americans, ethan steifel (straight) and angel corella (who is awesome! can't tell whether he is gay or straight), johan kobborg (danish, straight) and nikolay tsiskaridze (russian, flaming gay). they showed a clip in the beginning of the program with their rehearsals and nikolay pops up and starts prancing around in his unitard. and each of them picked a spot where they could do the solo, relfective thing, he picks tiffany's at south coast plaza. it was funny.

he's an amazing dancer, though. i saw him at the center with the bolshoi ballet's la bayadere. the man can leap.

we had awesome seats. it helps to go with the box office's assistant manager. hehe. even if i was a manager, i really don't have pull when it comes to tickets unless i'm paying for it.

to my left, was a couple. the woman smelled stale, like she didn't shower or the clothes she was wearing was pulled from the very back and very bottom of her closet and hasn't seen the light of day in a year or so. to her left was her date (maybe husband?). he sounded like he was snoring through the program, but later i realized he was just breathing heavily because he was sick. so this had me sitting as far to my right as possible and wishing i had lysol. i could imagine the germs flying in the air ala outbreak. (remember that movie?) when the show ended, i made sure to give a wide berth to the aisle seat that the guy was at.

i got home and tended to joes, because the poor baby can't walk, and then i started feeling sick. ok, i had a little bit of the sniffles, which was probably caused by allergies. but at the time, i was totally thinking that i picked up that guys germs. i wake up this morning, with a headache and a sore throat, which was really just a dry throat, and was totally blaming him. hehe.

i bought o.j. earlier to arm up in vitamin c. i should take airbourne.
