- i have a loving family, supportive friends and a great boyfriend that accepts me and all my flaws.
- i work in a great environment with amazing people that i'm so lucky to have met. i thank the Lord everyday that i happened to go on monster.com, sent my resume to some random company that i found mildly interesting, and actually got the job. thanks elizabeth hoffman.
- i actually do like my work, even if we are currently in the busiest time of the year.
- i have everything i would ever need. i can get myself anything i want. (but i don't. usually.)
i don't know if i'm just lucky, or if these are the products of my hard work. i don't think i work that much more than anyone else, in fact, i'm pretty laid back. i do know, however, that in what ever i do, i do to the best of my ability and with my full commitment. i'm glad that my performance is recognized, and i'm glad i am given more responsibility and that i have the opportunity to prove myself once again. i love the challenge and seeing the fruits of my labor.
isn't it crazy how things turn out sometimes? i think back to 6 months ago, and had i done something else and taken a step in another direction, i wouldn't be where i am today. i didn't want to be greedy so i stepped back, and let someone else take the opportunity. and now? i ended up in a better, and much more fulfilling place.
i hate to sound conceited, but i'm proud of myself and my accomplishments. who else can say that in 3 years, i've come from just a regular employee, to managing a sub-department.
as you can probably tell, i'm in that time of the month. it causes me to be a tad more sentimental and emotional. so sorry for the cheesy post.
seriously though, i'm very, very blessed. i wouldn't trade my life for the world.
i have this nagging fear, though, that i've reached my peak at 25, and that its all downhill from here. goodness, i sure hope not.
