here in oxnard for the day, at joes' parents' house. i'm looking forward to the awesome homecooked meal that his mom is preparing. i can smell the barbeque. yum!

our trip to chicago is coming up in 5 days. we're all so excited. there's a lot of stuff i need to prepare for. i should make a to do list and an item checklist to remind me. as absentminded as i am, it wouldn't be a surprise if i left something big, like my toothbrush.

joes and i spent the weekend shopping for clothes to bring. not to worry, though. our luggage are big enough to bring home the stuff we buy there. its gonna be so much fun!
