happy 25th sofia! i'm next in line...

i broke my lent sacrifice. the one thing i was doing really good at. for sofia's bday, we drove down to riverside and ate at an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. yes, sushi. rice galore. i couldn't turn the food down, so i ate. i owe bert $2.

i was doing really good too. so it sucks big time.

we finally initiated dada (who we knew in grade school as teresa cabanela) into the group. she's married now, but i don't know what her married name is. her husband, mark, came along too. i like him, he seemed really nice. we're gonna plan something soon, maybe when chai gets back from 'pinas.
