back from mammoth. i don't hurt as much as i did last year. and, if i do say so myself, i've improved a lot. i'm going to try to go boarding as often as i can to get the hang of it, so next year, i'm not stuck on the beginner slopes. tin and i spent the day together, while all the experienced snowboarders went up the higher slopes.

pictures are going up. click on the pictures link to view.

one of the coolest things about the trip was that i got to hang out with my sister. we saw each other fall. we cussed all the way down the slope. we fell at almost the same moments. we made fun of other ppl. we were pissed at all the little kiddies zooming past us (mostly in jealousy, 'coz they were better than us). i'm so glad she was able to go, 'coz for a moment there, she almost wasn't going to. we need to go snowboarding again soon, sister, so we don't forget how to. hehe.

since it was just us, tin and i headed back to the cabin early. we were afraid we'd get stranded 'coz the slopes and lifts close down at around 5 or so. on average, we finish a run in a little over an hour so we didn't want to take the chance. we get back with plenty of time to spare, took showers and just sat on the couch and talked. i get a phone call about an hour and a half later from joes asking us to take the van and pick them up. they got lost trying to get back to the cabin and had to hike down to the road. so we go pick them up.

unfortunately, my hair was damp and it was way cold outside. i caught a cold and well, the change of weather in so cal made it worse. its been chilly, windy and dry. not good for the allergies. so now my sinuses are acting up. oh well. thank goodness for medication, i say.

now i'm back to work. doesn't that suck?
