i'm about to settle down to pay bills and balance my checkbook. i hate that time of the month. the one where you watch your money go from a big, fat paycheck to just-enough-to-survive-until-the-next-one. it would be different if i had shoes or a nice purse to show for it. ::sigh:: sometimes i hate being an adult.
i'm trying to put the dismaying chore off. hence, the blog update.
planning on night boarding on thursday. it would be joes, tin and i. we're taking off after work around 4:30ish. anyone wanna come along?
its funny. some women get bitchy when they're on their period. me? i get emotional. not mood swings, mind you. i get teary eyed at the slightest provocation. like today, i was reading a press clipping about a new musical about louisa may alcott's little women. yeah, reading about how sutton foster's portrayal of jo and little snippets of the play that i remember from the book was making me sentimental.
and not just that. i'd get angry at something, but instead of cussing and being loud and whiney about it like i usually do, i get quiet. if i start talking about it, i would end up crying. its embarrassing! i feel like a wimp.
gah!
alright. i've put off balancing my checkbook long enough. i'm off like a prom dress.
