i'm effin' bored. and hungry. thank goodness the bf is cooking steak for me. gotta love that man!
been bummin' all weekend. attempted to clean the kitchen/dining area yesterday, but it needed more than the simple mopping and wiping down technique. so we cleaned as much as we could and left the rest for some other time. bought cleaning stuff today to help out with that.
after the cleaning attempt, ate at tgi friday's and went to see rent with joes and tin. it was good. i don't think i would pay full price for it, but i liked it. i especially liked that season song. after the show, we headed to bj's to get an aftershow meal. hmm, pizookies.
did nothing today either. ran errands with joes at tustin marketplace. didn't find anything we needed. hehe. oh well.
so the weekend was kinda wasted, gimik-wise. we could've gone to vegas. we could've done something. but lack of fundage kinda hindered that. still, spent time with my bebers so it was worthwhile nevertheless.
so work again tomorrow. norm's back so yay for that! he better not take any more vacations if he knows what's good for him.
oh, i never mentioned that joes got that job in marketing did i? he is now the center's press assistant. ain't it cool? he's full time now, with slightly higher pay. admin hours too, mon-fri 9a - 5:30p.
thats the downside. i start and end the day half an hour later than he does. frickin' norman won't let me have the same hours so i can carpool with joes and bert. grr. honestly, what difference does a half hour make? i'm usually done with everything by 5:30 anyway. he says i can start showing up at 9a if i wanted to, but i can't leave 'til 6. ugh! jerk! i swear!
i'm gonna keep working on nm3, though. he'll give in eventually. i may just threaten to take the receptionist position. hehe. or maybe i'll bribe with food. that always seems to work.
its crazy. we're losing a lot of ppl this week. jennifer at the front desk, is moving over to education. jodi quit for better things. and joes is moving into marketing. we're trying to get jen s to go for jodi's old position, which would be great for us in subscriptions, but bad for the info center. and we're trying to get one of the girls in ticketing to go for the newly opened receptionist position. there's a lot of rearranging going on in ticketing. i don't think it bodes well for our department 'coz they're losing the reliable staff members. if they only took better care of us. oh well, their loss.
